If its o/k with sifu I would like to take some class pictures next week to share with you guys

Hello Gabriel, Tom, and Alex! I've been training in San Diego since late 2004... it is amazing and wonderful fun! Don't ever quite! I'm a bit jealous you all get to train with Sifu Rene in Florida ;)... but I've come up with a solution: all of you move to San Diego! Besides, the alignment of the stars has the mysterious affect of producing better Wing Chun fighters in San Diego! That's true! ...and contrary to what you may have heard, cost of living in San Diego is very low (compared to other places... like Tokyo).

Pete... I don't know if you remember, but I believe you met Victor Kan when you and Richard went with me on one of our trips to Tucson to visit Augustine back in (I believe) 1992 or 1993. I could be wrong..... memory fading due to age these days..... |

| Well.... what do you know.... I went to check out the link that Tom posted, and guess what... I think you are in the picture from the visit I was talking about earlier...... you'll recognize yourself in the pic. I believe I had left earlier with Richard on that trip and was already gone when the pic was taken, which is why I'm not in it. There are also pics of Sifu Ho (a young Sifu Ho) as well. |

| Hey everyone, my name's Gabriel and it's great to be here. Here being Florida for one since I have the pleasure of being able to study under Sifu Ng's guidance, and "here" as in these boards where I suspect a wealth of knowledge can and will be shared. I've been studying under Sifu since mid-July '06 and am certain I'd like to continue to learn (and someday teach) for the rest of my able days. Beyond Wing Chun I've study some Ju Jitsu, Judo and, in my early teens, a bit of Karate as well. That was all when I lived in the Orange County (CA) area about 10 years ago. Since moving to Florida I hadn't found much in the way of schools or styles that suited my admittedly selective tastes until I happened across Sifu's page while googling around one night. Thus, here I am and excitedly so. I'm hoping to meet the rest of you guys this Summer if all goes well. |

| Hello, my name's Ron and I was introduced to Wing Chun by Ben Black, but I've been studying under Pete since the spring of 2006. I was originally into Wushu from 2002 - early 2004, but I was never actually taught any application in it, so I ended up quitting and looking for something for applicable. I can still remember the first time I saw Wing Chun (though it was a movie) --- Samo Hung's "The Prodigal Son" --- and ever since then I've fallen in love with the art and have been learning all I could about it. Well, it's good to hear from all of you, it'd be great if we could all meet together and practice some time! |

I`m Alex, Toms` lil` boy. I`ve liked martial Arts since I was a boy, Bruce Lee (duh! ) was my main influence. Did a few crappy summers in the UK practicing Lau Gar Kung Fu, and Praying Mantis. Moved to the States 15 years ago, and got my citizenship last year. Practiced some sticks/knife with my Dad, and also Tiger Crane Kung Fu for 3 years. Havent done anything for the past 5 years, except beating up a few people at regular UFC parties at my house! My dad mentioned about a Wing Chun School, I emailed Sifu Ng, and I started the first of the year. I enjoy it immensely. My dad and I try to team up a few more times a week to practice. I will be moving into a new house next month, and I am planning my new gym, with a wooden dummy etc.

Rick Johnson... now that is a name I haven't heard of in a while. Know how he is doing?
Also, I have not heard back from John Ruppel... I had left him a message in the middle of last year and Lisa (his wife) told me he was out at sea and would be back at the end of the year. I'l try calling him again this weekend and see how he is doing. |

| Man, can't wait to get a dummy of my own. I just can't seem to get enough of that thing, although my arms were colored otherwise the next day. |
