Hey guys...Chris at Jings can order a white wax wood staffs (according to Rene, the white wax wood is what the best staffs in China are made from). The white wax tree is a tall skinny tree, the entire, natural tree truck is used for the staff. The staffs are 8.5 to 9.5 feet long, 1.5 to 2.0 inches at the thick end, tapering to 1.0 to .75 inches at the thin end and approx 5 lbs weight. The staffs fairly flexible and very durable.
Chris said the staffs are $78 each and approx $10 shipping per staff. Willie, Nathan (may order 2)and Joey are going to order one.
To help keep costs down (or get a better rate) get in touch with Nathan or myself ASAP to let us know if you are interested.
RICHARD: If any of your students are interested let me know so we can include them.
Pete

Chris just got back to me about the staffs... here's what he said:
Length = Approx. 10 Feet Diameter = Approx. 1.25 Inches Weight = Approx. 4 lbs
Base Wholesale Cost = $46.50/ea S&H ($5-$10/ea) this is a guess. Total Base Wholesale Cost = $51.50/ea - $56.50/ea CA Tax: 7.75% = $3.99/ea - $4.38/ea
Total Wholesale Cost: $55.49/ea - $60.88/ea |
